Announcement - Resignation of Chairman • Sunday 11th March 2012.... (Posted 11/03/12)
It is with regret that the Committee has to advice BLSC members that Daniel Stewart has resigned from his position as Club Chairman with immediate effect. The Committee would like to thank Danny for his time and consistent effort that he has put into helping the Club as a volunteer since the resignation of our previous Chairman, Kevin Short in November 2011.
Paul Caller, Vice Chairman will undertake the responsibilities of the Chairman for the present time. As soon as the Committee are in a position to decide on the best way forward for the club this will be communicated to our members.
We hope this change will cause minimum distruption and would like to reassure all members that the Committee will continue to work to improve the Club for the benefit of our swimmers. Nicola Baldwin, BLSC Secretary - on behalf of the BLSC Committee.
