Medway Championships Gala 4 2013

Please find attached an entry form and schedule for the remaining two gala’s of the year for this series of championships - which are to be held at Medway Park on Saturday 21st September and 5th October 2013 for a 5.30 warm-up.

No qualifying times are required to enter the age group events - so  they are ideal for everyone including those with little/no gala experience and our Masters too.

They also includes various Open Events (although these events are accompanied by guideline qualifying times – also attached).

Finally, there is also an opportunity to compete in a mixed squad relay in October.

Age as normal with these events as at the end of the year.

We understand that both of these galas are to be licensed events, so that if any swimmer achieves any Kent Qualifying Times they can be officially used to enter the 2014 Kent County Champs/appear on the British Swimming rankings list (Level 3 subject to confirmation).

As these events are licensed ASA Catagory 2 membership will be required to compete – please contact Debbie Tills for more information of membership.

The cost of each event £3.50, no charge for relays which are coach selected.

The BLSC closing date is 24th July 2013. So entries before this date please via your squad coach to Jenny/Ingrid.

If you decide not to compete in an event entered the attached withdrawl slip will need to be completed and handed to a coach so that the swimmer can be "signed out". Many thanks.
