Medway Championships Gala 5

MEDWAY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014

We encourage all of our swimmers to support and compete in these gala’s, from our new younger members right through to our more experienced competitors and Masters’.  Each event includes an age group race (which will include a final for the fastest six swimmers in each age group) and also an opportunity to enter the open event(s). However, there are guideline consideration times to enter the Open events (please refer to their attached Open Qualifying times document – as Medway ASA have the right to restrict swimmers if needed).  No entry times are required for the age group events and you may be chosen on the night to compete in the relay held.

During the year Medway host five championships which culminate in the Medway 50/200 which will be hosted on the 16th November next year. In addition they also host the Nore Command Gala which is a team event (a team selection will be made nearer the time) and this will be held on the 7th June and a Masters’ event on the 12th October 2014. All of these dates will be shown on our website calendar, fixture list and also on the Medway events programme which can be found:
